Merry Christmas Everyone!! This was Avery's first encounter with Ol' Saint Nick....and it was love at first sight! There were no tears from our girl!! She was big eyed and just all amazed to be sitting on Santa's lap. I love this first picture of her. She just looks so happy to be with her new friend Mr. Claus!
We discovered that we have a great little park just around the corner from our house. This was our first and last walk to the park before the snow came. Avery loved the swings!

Today Avery got her very first taste of solid food. She loved her pink spoon but we weren't too sure how much she really liked the rice cereal. Who could blame her, it tastes like card board!
Thanksgiving is Ezra's favorite holiday because it combines two events close to his heart...eating and DETROIT LIONS FOOTBALL!! This year they lost to the Packers...sorry Ez :(

Since our dining room table didn't arrive in time for Turkey Day, we had to get creative. Who'd a thought three closet doors screwed together on some saw horses would make such a great place to enjoy our feast.

Ok, so I'm a little bit crazy. Since it was Avery's first Halloween I have been searching the end of the earth to find her the cutest costume. That's when I found the skunk....and then I found the DUCK!!! They were both super cute...so what the heck I bought both! What 4 month old little girl doesn't need two Halloween costumes, right??
I have been torturing Avery ever since I got my new camera. I am really trying to learn how to work all the functions and settings, but the more pictures I take the more I fall in love with this little girl
